The available paths and expected timelines for requesting deletion of data processed by StrataDesk AI.

StrataDesk AIEffective Date: May 7, 2026 - Version 1.0
On this page

This page explains how to request deletion of data processed by StrataDesk AI. It covers operator workspaces, end-customer conversations, Meta data deletion callbacks, public booking and order records, payment proof uploads, and related media.

This page should be read together with the StrataDesk AI Privacy Policy, the StrataDesk AI Terms of Service, and the Bscale Labs Sub-processors page. It covers StrataDesk AI as a product and service, not the general bscalelabs.com marketing website.

If you messaged, commented on, booked with, or bought from a business using StrataDesk AI

You have two main deletion paths.

Option A: Remove StrataDesk AI from Facebook settings

If your data reached StrataDesk AI through Facebook or Instagram features covered by Meta's Data Deletion Callback, you can remove StrataDesk AI from your Facebook settings:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings and privacy.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find StrataDesk AI.
  4. Click Remove.

Meta will send StrataDesk AI a signed data deletion request. We verify the request, create a deletion job, and return a confirmation URL where the request status can be checked.

This path may not cover every record, especially if you interacted only through public comments, booking forms, payment pages, order pages, or another channel. Use Option B if you want us to locate those records.

Option B: Email us directly

Email privacy@bscalelabs.com with:

  • The channel or page you used, such as Messenger, Instagram Direct, Facebook comments, Instagram comments, web chat, booking page, payment page, or order page.
  • The business you contacted or bought from.
  • Your name, email address, phone number, platform username, order number, booking date, approximate message date, or other details that help us identify the records.
  • Whether you want all matching records deleted or only a specific conversation, booking, order, or payment proof.

We aim to confirm receipt within 7 days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a legal, security, accounting, dispute, or operator-controlled retention exception applies.

If you are an operator

Operators can delete many records inside the product. Workspace deletion and hard-delete handling depend on the workspace state and your role.

Deleting a workspace

When a workspace is deleted or deactivated, it enters the configured recovery window, typically 30 days. During that time, authorized admins may be able to restore it. After the recovery window, StrataDesk AI hard-deletes or renders unavailable active workspace data, generally within 90 days.

Requesting earlier hard-delete

Email privacy@bscalelabs.com from an owner or admin address and include the workspace name and reason for the request. We will verify your authority before acting. Hard-delete requests can include database records, private and public object storage, and vector-search collections tied to the workspace.

What deletion covers

Depending on the verified request, deletion may cover:

  • Contact profiles and metadata.
  • Conversation sessions, messages, comments, replies, attachments, and rehosted media.
  • AI-generated summaries, tags, classifications, and derived conversation data.
  • Booking records, custom field responses, add-on selections, management-token records, and payment-proof files.
  • Product orders, line items, buyer details, payment slips, fulfillment events, and management-token records.
  • Knowledge base pages, uploaded files, extracted text, embeddings, vector-search collections, folders, agents, channels, and workspace configuration.
  • Channel credentials, connection records, and webhook subscription state.

For Meta deletion callbacks, the automated flow deletes or deactivates matching contact records, rehosted media, and connected channel records that can be linked to the app-scoped Meta user ID supplied by Meta.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained where legally or operationally necessary:

RecordTypical retentionReason
Billing, tax, accounting, and invoice recordsAt least 5 years where requiredTax and accounting compliance
Security logs, audit logs, and abuse-prevention recordsUp to 2 yearsSecurity, fraud prevention, and incident response
Records of deletion and privacy requestsUp to 2 yearsCompliance evidence
Backups containing deleted dataGenerally rotated out within 90 daysDisaster recovery
Records needed for disputes, legal claims, refunds, chargebacks, or regulatory requestsAs long as necessary for the matterLegal and dispute handling

Where we retain a record after deletion, we minimize it where practical and restrict use to the retained purpose.
